trip to the pumpkin patch
This weekend the Hubs and I headed up to Virginia and went pumpkin picking (with a pumpkin spice latte in hand, of course!) It was our first trip to a real pumpkin patch... where we used to go, all the pumpkins were pre-picked and setup in rows, so this was a fun change. It took us little while, and there were lots of rejects, but we found 3 perfect pumpkins!! Can't wait to carve them and make pumpkin seeds! :)

Do you make pumpkin seeds? What's your fave way to make them?
I haven't had the chance to get pumkins yet. I'm procrastinating this year. I'm hoping to go to a corn maze/pumpkin patch on Saturday. I'm running out of time to get to pumpkin carving. Halloween is right around the corner!!
ReplyDeleteI love pumpkin seeds. I just make them by soaking them in salt water before I bake them. Nice and simple. :)
Such fun photos! Trips to the pumpkin patch are always fun :) And I love homemade pumpkin seeds! I love adding cinnamon to them.

ReplyDeleteOh yumm! I love pumpkin.. We love them so much we don't waste any of it..we don't even decorate them.. we just devour them..lol We make pumpkin seeds, pumpkin bread, baked pumpkin, and I'm looking into making pumpkin curry.. Yummmm!

We still have not bought a pumpkin. I think we are gonna forgo it this year cause its already so late and my motivation to carve a pumpkin is at an all time low.
