And I love featuring great artists.
I've decided to start a new series of fashion posts inspired by artwork. Don't worry, I'm still going to do my "Artist Love" posts, but I thought it might be a fun way to get inspired and have some fun with fashion!
To kick start this series, I was inspired by this gorgeous painting Claire Desjardins. She's such a talented artist and I'm inspired by all her work.... and her amazing eye for color!
While putting this look together, I knew I wanted to keep it simple, and bring the pops of color through the accessories. I first found this amazing maxi! (I knew it would be perfect. The color is almost an exact match!) And then there are those heels... they're pretty amazing! LOVE them!

I would totally rock this! I'm not sure I could do mismatched accessories, though. Maybe a couple of different colors thrown in. But that maxi is gorgeous! What a great idea for a blog post. :)
