How was your Halloween? I can't believe it's November already! The year is almost over!
I saw this great post idea over on the lovely Miss Candice's blog. She made a list of a few things/goals she wants to accomplish during the month, so I though I'd do the same. At the begining of each month I'm going to share a few things I hope to achieve that month... whether they're silly or serious, I hope to feel more accomplished when I start checking things off!
Here's just a few of mine...
1/ Take more photos.
2/ Get back into morning workouts.
3/ Drink more water.
4/ Read a book. (Any suggestions?)
5/ Get a new sketchbook.
Do you have any goals for the month?
I can't believe it's Nov. already either! It's crazy. I love all of your goals for the month. I'm so with you on working out. I also have a ton of book rec's, but there's so many let me know if you want me to email them to you. :)
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the workouts and water! Have to get prepared for holidays. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Your list looks very similar to what mine would be :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with all of those! Many are on my list too :)
ReplyDeletei'm on the hunt for a good book too. i keep seeing "the paris wife" everywhere. maybe it's good?
ReplyDeletemy first goal should be to just put down the halloween candy...why is it calling to me at all times of the day?!
ReplyDeletethese are great goals - you know i'm a fan of morning workouts :)
Oh I need to do this! I have vague goals in my head all the time, but I think it would help if I actually wrote them down! Thanks for the reminder :)
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't read Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay, I HIGHLY recommend it. I read it in a day!! I think there's going to be a movie for it soon.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I need to make one--tomorrow? :)
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely read The Help if you haven't already.
Also, The Art of Racing in the Rain.
Love, love, love!
Love, Leigh

I also think the book idea is fantastic. I read a lot of legal {boring} books for my work, so I think trying to read something fun is fabulous! I'm also training for a half marathon, so working out tops my list too!

ReplyDeletewoohoo it's my birthday month!!
ReplyDeletemonthly goals is a great idea...I may have to do this myself. Listing stuff monthly makes it more attainable, you know?
Love your resolutions. Take more photos is a constant on my list!
ReplyDeleteHappy November!
If you're looking for a great new book and haven't read this one yet, I definitely suggest One Day :)
ReplyDeleteI just saw your comment on my blog. I don't know how I missed your November goals. Drinking more water is a good one. I should definitely add that to my list, maybe for December.
ReplyDeleteCandice is my swap partner for Cold Hands Warm Hearts swap. I can't wait to check out her blog further. I did a quick peek and I like it already.
I don't know if I can recommend a book for you to read. I am so into young adult novels right now. I just finished the trilogy on the Wolves of Mercy Falls (Shiver, Longer and Forever) but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. I am currently re-reading Breaking Dawn before the movie comes out.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
